Meet the Instructor
Reena Solanki is a certified Yoga Instructor and Meditator, with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She heads the Raka Wellness Center, a unit of the Himalayan Institute of Cultural and Heritage Studies, while also being the administrative head of HICHS. Under her supervision and practice, HICHS has healed many people in the free local clinic in Kullu and now Dhami, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
About the Session
Hatha yoga is a form practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching. The word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha yoga is designed to align and calm one’s body, mind, and spirit to herald us to the next phase of meditation.
Wake up every morning and virtually join our certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, Reena Solanki from the cooler climes of Dhami, Himachal Pradesh.
Reena will instruct you every morning from 7-8 am or evening 4-5 pm from under an ancient Peepal tree situated next to our village Deity, Kurgan, a form of Shiva.
